Garlic
Herb Butter
(try this on steak)
1 stick of butter,
softened
handful of fresh herbs (try basil and parsley)
3 cloves of garlic, smushed in garlic press
To make the Garlic-Herb Butter, combine all ingredients. Lay out a
sheet of plastic wrap. Spoon butter mixture on wrap. Roll and shape
butter into a log. Refrigerate to firm up for 30 minutes. Slice into
1/4 disks to top the grilled steaks. You can make butter up
to 3 days in advance |

Honey
Cinnamon Butter
1/2 cup
butter, soft
3 tablespoons honey
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
Mix all together
until blended and serve on bread, muffins, scones, fruit bread,
etc.

Orange Honey
Butter
1/2 cup
(1 stick) butter at room temperature
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon grated orange zest
Makes 1/2 cup.
In a small bowl,
beat butter until light and fluffy. Beat in honey and orange zest
until well blended. Serve with muffins, pancakes or French toast.

Cranberry
Butter
3/4 cup cranberries
6 tablespoons powdered sugar
2 teaspoons grated orange peel
1 cup (2 sticks) butter - room temperature
Cut butter into
pieces. Coarsely chop the cranberries with the sugar in a food processor
using on/off turns. Add butter and blend until combined but slightly
chunky.
Spoon mixture
onto a sheet of foil, mounding it into a log about an inch in diameter.
Wrap foil around it and refrigerate. This can be made up to 1 week
ahead. Bring it to room temperature, slice and
serve on biscuits, rolls or muffins.
